    Hi Jakub,

Luke from the Product team here. Thanks for submitting this feature request and providing an example API call.

I've added this to our backlog. We will add support for the custom_event_type dimension and the custom_page_events and unique_custom_app_events metrics for custom reports on our TikTok Ads connector.

I'll let you know when this is added to a sprint and we start working on it.

    Thanks,
    Luke

Slight correction to my last comment: the custom_event_type dimension and the custom_page_events metric were added last year, you can refer to our release notes for more info on these: https://fivetran.com/docs/connectors/applications/tiktok-ads/changelog#august2024.

I've added support for the unique_custom_app_events metric to our backlog.

    Hi Jakub,

Just a quick update on this. We're currently working on it and hope to release it soon. I'll post another update once the code is merged and we start rolling it out.

    Cheers,
    Luke

    Hi Lucas!

I am Jakub's teammate taking over this from Jakub. Hope you are doing well.
This is great news. Thanks so much!

I wanted to confirm that you will be passing all 3 of the following:
    • Unique custom events (app) - we use these for App NC/RA.
    • Custom events (app).  - we use these for App RO.
    • Custom events (website) - Web NC/RA/RO <- I think we have these already

    Is that correct?

    Thanks!

    Anuja

    Hi Anuja,

We've merged the changes, and they're set to be included in our next deployment. You should get access to them by tomorrow morning.

Below are the new metrics we're adding (using the API naming convention). These will be available for custom reports. You can add new custom reports via the connector's setup form. We already support custom_page_events, which I think is what you mean by website. It's described in TikTok's docs as "The number of custom web events attributed to your ads."

    New metrics:

    • unique_custom_app_events
    • custom_app_events
    • custom_app_events_value
    • unique_ad_impression_events
    • ads_impression_events
    • total_ad_impression_events_value
