Connector Improvement: Reddit connector logic Update to pull in performance data by templateAdId and asset
AnsweredWe are missing campaigns from Reddit, which we found were due to new Reddit Max (RMax) campaign types.
Reddit support noted that these campaigns are intentionally structured so that performance is reported at the asset and template level, not at the individual ad level. As a result, these campaigns should appear in the campaign table, with metrics tracked by asset and template using a new field called templateAdId. This is why they're absent from ad-level conversion and ad report tables in both Fivetran exports and Reddit’s dashboard.
We are requesting the suggested update to connector logic to pull in performance data by templateAdId and asset metrics for RMax campaigns to align with Reddit’s new reporting structure.

Hi Justyn,
Luke from the Product team here. Thanks for submitting this feature request.Could you ask Reddit support to provide a link to these fields in their documentation? There is no mention of templateAdId or breakdowns related to assets/templates in their API spec: https://ads-api.reddit.com/docs/v3/operations/Get%20A%20Report. There are also no mentions of this new reporting structure in the API changelog: https://ads-api.reddit.com/docs/v3/changelog.This makes it challenging for us to understand how to implement this request.
Cheers,
Luke
