Currently, this API is missing for the Fivetran Terraform Provider, would be great to have this support

    Hi Rui,

    Thank you for taking the time to submit your request regarding upgrading our system API keys functionality. We appreciate your input and interest in improving Fivetran. We are looking to eventually replace System API Keys with a more comprehensive feature for Service Account API Keys, so we're not planning enhancements to the current feature.

    Hi Alison,

    To answer your question, we provision Fivetran destinations per environment and source type via Terraform. We would like to be able to update the system key connector group-level rule for our application, each time a destination is created.

    We are planning REST API support for the new service account API keys feature, and Terraform will come after that. Just to clarify,  you're looking for a terraform data source / resource that can update

    (1) what source/destinations that API key allows access to
    (2) and/or RBAC role assignments / permissions are on that key?

    Understood, and yes we'll offer the ability to change destination access via API as part of the new Service Account API keys capability.  Terraform support will not come initially, but will come after REST API support.
