We recently had an outage due to consumer based licensing not working.  The challenge with this is that it puts us in jeopardy 1 week out perpetually if for some reason the license cannot be updated.  We were informed by Fivetran the license would update automatically but in our instance it did not.

I would suggest that once a consumer based license expires at least a 1 week grace period is given to recover to a new license and likewise raise an alarm only after one enters the grace period.
