Currently, our data integration capabilities through Fivetran are limited concerning our use of Smartsheet. The existing Fivetran connector is designed exclusively for "Resource Management by Smartsheet".  It does not support the core, regular Smartsheet platform where the bulk of our task tracking, and collaborative work resides.

To resolve this, we need a new data connector specifically built for the standard Smartsheet platform. Such a connector would need to access the main Smartsheet API to extract key objects like sheets, rows, columns, and cell history.

By implementing a connector that works with regular Smartsheet, we can automate the entire data pipeline. This would unlock the rich dataset within our primary workspace, allowing it to flow seamlessly into our data warehouse.
