Connector Improvement: Enable writing of connector warning and error logs to snowflake
AnsweredIssue Summary:
The Fivetran connector for Oseries is displaying warning messages, but these warnings are not being saved in the Snowflake database. As a result, we are unable to track or monitor these warning events effectively.
Objective:
We want to ensure that all connector warnings are logged into Snowflake, particularly in the connector_logs or a similar log table, so we can:
Store the warning messages persistently for audit and troubleshooting.
Set up automated alerts (e.g., through Datadog or another monitoring tool) when warnings are generated.
Request:
How can we enable logging of Fivetran connector warnings to Snowflake?
Which Fivetran settings or connector-level configurations need to be adjusted?
If already enabled, which Snowflake table or schema typically stores these logs (e.g., fivetran.log, fivetran.connector_logs)?

Hi Saiprasad,
Connector warning messages are included in the Fivetran logs. These logs can be accessed through the Platform Connector's
logtable. If you are not seeing warning messages logged for your Oseries connector, please submit a support ticket so our team can investigate your specific scenario in detail. Thanks,
Amy
