Connector Improvement: Column-Level syncing in Front Connector -> Snowflake

Message bodies and contact information can hold PII and PHI that we should have the option to not sync. Many other connectors have column-level syncing, and this would bring this connector up to feature parity.

    Hi Matthew,

    Thanks for raising this request, and I completely understand your concerns around handling sensitive data. I checked the schema and the message -> body field can be deselected if you’d prefer not to sync it.

    For the contacts side, could you point me to the specific field you have in mind? That will help us assess how best to handle it. As an alternative, you can also apply column hashing to anonymize data at the destination.
