Connector Improvement: Coalesce - multi project pulls
AnsweredCurrently, the Fivetran Coalesce connector only supports replicating data from a single Coalesce project at a time. This limitation significantly increases overhead for teams managing multiple projects, as it requires setting up and maintaining separate connectors for each project.
Requested Enhancement:
Enhance the Coalesce connector to allow pulling data from all projects within a Coalesce account through a single connector. This would streamline data ingestion, reduce connector maintenance, and improve overall scalability.
Technical Considerations:
We understand this limitation is tied to Coalesce’s current API, which does not yet support features like pagination, batch requests, or cross-project access. However, we’d like to see a path forward where, once the Coalesce API supports such features, Fivetran could implement a consolidated connector mode.
Business Impact:
-
Reduces setup and maintenance time across multiple connectors.
-
Simplifies monitoring and troubleshooting.
-
Enables more efficient use of Fivetran credits/resources.
-
Helps data teams scale without disproportionate operational complexity.
Additional Notes:
We are happy to provide use cases or collaborate with Fivetran and Coalesce teams to support this development.

Hi Jason,
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughtful feedback on enhancing the Coalesce connector to support data ingestion from multiple projects within a single connection. We truly appreciate the detailed context and the business impact you’ve outlined - it’s very helpful for our evaluation.
We understand how this limitation adds overhead for teams managing multiple Coalesce projects, and we completely agree that a consolidated connector mode would simplify operations and improve scalability. We’ll be reaching out to Coalesce’s team to better understand the roadmap for their API capabilities - including pagination, batch requests, and cross-project access - to assess what’s possible from Fivetran’s side once those features become available.
Thank you again for your valuable feedback. We’ll continue to keep you updated as progress is made on this front, and your input will directly help shape the evolution of this connector.
Best regards,
Sisan Kumar Sahu
