When one or more steps in a transformation jobs fail (i.e .result in an ERROR), Fivetran does not generate an alert. So, we have an error which is neither shown in the Alerts page, nor do we receive an email notification about the error. Currently, the only way of knowing there was an error is to go to the Transformations page, scroll through the list and look for 'Partially succeeded' statuses.
We need this corrected to have the option for 'Partially succeeded' transformation to generate an alert, display it in the Alerts page and send out an email notification.
