Other: Need Field Level Data Before Intial Sync for Non-Db Connectors - Reg

Hi Fivetran,
We are currently utilizing a SaaS-based application as part of our product, and would like to request an enhancement regarding Non-DB connectors.
At present, prior to the initial sync, we are only able to retrieve schemas and column-level metadata. However, field-level details (such as field names, types, etc.) are only available after syncing all columns, which makes early-stage validations and mapping difficult.
We have also observed that syncing just one or two columns does not allow access to field-level data — the full sync is mandatory. This behavior is different from DB connectors, where field-level details are accessible upfront.
We kindly request a feature enhancement that enables retrieval of all field-level metadata for Non-DB connectors prior to the initial sync, similar to how DB connectors behave. This would greatly improve usability, pre-sync validation, and integration planning.
Please let us know if there’s an alternate approach available to achieve this currently, or if this can be prioritized as a feature enhancement in an upcoming release.
