Connector Improvement: FreshService - ability to schedule reimports of the tables without incremental endpoints

Due to FreshService API limitation (missing incremental endpoints), Fivetran currently re-imports three tables at the same time every day (about 6 am PST). We would like to submit a feature request to be able to schedule those re-imports so they do not affect their peak production time. Currently, re-import time is fixed for all FreshService connectors.

    Hi Monika Voorhis,

    Thank you for your feature request regarding the ability to schedule re-imports for FreshService tables. We have added this request to our backlog and it will be prioritized based on overall demand. Could you please specify what time you would prefer to schedule these re-imports to avoid peak production times? We will keep you updated on any progress.

    Hi Melvin,

    As investigated, the spike in sync times and API usage isn’t caused by the reimports, but rather by bulk updates of tickets at the source. Allowing rescheduling of reimports would not resolve the issue at hand. Our support team has already communicated this as well.

    Given this, we won’t be moving forward with changes on this ticket at this time.
