Connector Improvement: Support for Batch Size Configuration in Moloco Connector
CompletedWe’re currently running into an issue with the Moloco connector where the sync is failing due to exceeding the limits imposed by the Moloco API. We’ve confirmed with the Moloco team that these limits are related to request volume, and they asked whether Fivetran supports configuring a batch size or throttling mechanism on this connector.
Upon reviewing the Moloco setup guide, we didn’t find any mention of a configurable batch size or API rate-limiting feature.
We’d like to formally request the following feature:
Feature: Ability to configure batch size or throttling parameters in the Moloco connector to avoid hitting API rate limits.
Why this matters:
-
Moloco’s API limits are currently being hit on our syncs, preventing initial syncs from completing.
-
We’re in contact with Moloco’s team, but they do not currently offer a way to increase the limits on their side in a self-service way.
-
A configurable batch size on Fivetran’s side would give us a workaround and improve reliability of the connector.

Hi Earl,
Thank you for your feedback and for sharing your request regarding the batch size configuration in the Moloco connector.
I’m happy to share that with one of our recent updates to the Moloco connector, we’ve made significant performance improvements. As part of this enhancement, the
AD_PERFORMANCE_ANALYTICStable has been replaced with the newAD_PERFORMANCE_REPORTtable, which delivers better performance and reliability. In addition, we’ve improved our rate limit handling, which should help mitigate the API throttling issues you’ve experienced and enhance the overall sync stability.
Please let us know if you have any questions or continue to experience any issues — we’re happy to help further.
Best regards,
Sisan
