Connector Improvement: Fivetran Platform Logs - add is_enabled field to identify unsynced columns/tables

We are syncing the Fivetran logs to Snowflake and it would be great to have an is_enabled field added to the SOURCE_TABLE_METADATA and SOURCE_COLUMN_METADATA tables to specify which columns and tables are being synced. This could help us identify (in an automated fashion) when new tables are available to sync for each connector and when new columns are added to tables and need manual addition.

    Hi Emily,

    Thank you for your feature request regarding the addition of an is_enabled field to the SOURCE_TABLE_METADATA and SOURCE_COLUMN_METADATA tables. We recognize the value it could provide in automating the identification of newly available tables and columns for syncing.

    We plan to address this after completing the necessary foundational changes scheduled for this quarter, ending in October. We aim to pick this feature up shortly thereafter.
