Connector Improvement: SNC Support for non SAP crypto library in SAP S4 HANA connector

Hi, we had raised an case - #272651 for SAP S4 connector issue with SNC based connection. We came to know that Fivetran Connect expects SNC CN to be in a particular format and only work with the SAP-provided crypto kerberos crypto library. This was discussed with fivetran product team and cybersafe vendor ( our current kerbos crypto provider for SNC). We need fivetran to check SNC based authentication options and make connect to accept a third party crypto library as well.

    Hi Ranjeet,

    This connector improvement request has been added to our feature improvements backlog for consideration. Unfortunately, we don't have an ETA yet. For now, we have the information we need and will get back to you if we require any additional input.

    We will keep this thread updated with any progress regarding SNC support for non-SAP crypto libraries in the SAP S4 HANA connector.
