Other: Approval Mechanism any kind of schema drifting in target schema
AnsweredGive the couple of observation in Zendesk connectors we propose to have an approval mechanism in place for any kind of schema drifting from fivetran. Below are some pointers which would be required for achieving this
1. In case of schema drifting (Data type change) in the target schema have a warning in connector UI which would inform the consumers
2. An approve/Deny button on the warning which would guide the course of action during the drift
3. When this warning is placed, there should be any impact to any other tables or columns in terms of syncing data

Hi Pankaj,
Thank you for using our connector and sharing your insight. We have a policy of moving connector schemes forward so that the data is accurate in your warehouse. This is particularly powerful when new columns and data is detected as these changes automatically apply. Can you share more about the scenarios you have encounter that have led to this request? How would a deny button work? - as the sources updated data type and schema would need to be moved at sometime in future. Would a feature where you are warned when we are going to make the change and can control the time within a time window meet your needs?
Best regards
Alison
