Connector Improvement: MNTN Performance Metrics Different from Platform
AnsweredWe're seeing small but consistent daily discrepancies in performance metrics—such as spend, impressions, and clicks—between the MNTN platform and the data pulled via the Fivetran connector. These inconsistencies appear to affect tables like campaign_group and creative_group.
Our working theory is that the issue stems from the way incremental sync is currently configured. Notably, when a full resync is performed, the data realigns with MNTN's platform metrics. This suggests that MNTN may make slight post-sync updates to metric values, which aren't captured during standard incremental loads.
Ideally, the Fivetran-synced data should mirror the platform exactly. Further investigation is needed to validate this behavior and determine if changes to the sync approach are warranted.

Hi Jim,
The discrepancies in spend, impressions, and clicks for the
campaign_groupandcreative_grouptables have been noted. Based on your findings, it appears the current incremental sync configuration may not capture post-sync updates from MNTN, which are only aligned following a full resync. To investigate further and address this scenario, please file a support ticket so our technical team can analyze your instance and review the sync behavior in detail.
Thanks,
Syead
