Connector Improvement: Adyen Balance Reports

We have a user that we are supporting that is looking to get their Balance Reports ingested from Adyen, but it looks like it is not currently supported by the Adyen connector. We would like to request the addition of Balance reports for the Adyen connector.

    While Balance Reports are not currently supported in our Adyen connector, I’ve added this request to our backlog for consideration. We’ll prioritize it based on customer demand and update you on any developments.

    We're planning to pick this up soon and I have a question for you. Are you currently using Adyen’s Balance Report for reconciliation? If yes, is this for Platforms, Issuing, or both? Understanding this will help us prioritize effectively.

    Our team is also interested in this feature and is currently collaborating with the Product team of fivetran. Per their recommendation, I’m adding a comment here to confirm that we use Adyen reports for both issuing and repayments.

    Hi Everyone,

    We've looked into this further-

    To clarify, the existing Adyen connector supports the Payments Reporting API (settlement, received payments, chargebacks) but does not currently cover the Balance Platform Reporting API, which uses a separate set of credentials and endpoints. These are distinct product offerings from Adyen, and adding native support for Balance Platform would require a separate connector on our end.

    We've logged your request and will you posted on any developments to build this seperate connector.

    In the meantime, if you'd like to unblock your reporting sooner, you can use our Connector SDK to build a custom Adyen Balance Platform connector. The SDK lets you define your own data source and sync logic using Python, with Fivetran handling the orchestration, scheduling, and delivery to your destination.
