Connector Improvement: Braintree apple pay and android pay connector improvement
CompletedWe are using the braintree fivetran connector for our source for all things pay in data. We have found that there are some columns that are null from fivetran from the apple pay and android pay objects from the connector. Can we please have these added. These columns are shown in the documentation from braintree here: https://developer.paypal.com/braintree/docs/reference/response/apple-pay-card/ruby/
These are the columns missing from apple pay:
BIN
country_of_issuance
commercial
debit
default
expired?
prepaid
payroll
issuing bank
healthcare
Android pay:
country_of_issuance
commercial
debit
default
expired?
prepaid
payroll
issuing bank
healthcare

Hi David,
Thank you for reaching out with your feature request regarding the Braintree connector improvement for Apple Pay and Android Pay. We appreciate your feedback and are pleased to inform you that the requested columns have been added. All fields are supported except for 'is_default' and 'expired,' as these are not exposed from the API.
You can find detailed information about these updates in our release notes: [Fivetran Braintree Connector Changelog - June 2025].
Thank you again for your valuable input. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to reach out.
Best,
Sandeep
