Connector Improvement: Syncing Metadata Tables in F&O Connector
AnsweredSummary: We are experiencing an issue where certain metadata tables, specifically GlobalOptionSetMetadata, are not being detected or synced by the Fivetran connector. These tables are present in our storage container and contain data, but they do not appear in the destination schema.
Details:
- The
GlobalOptionSetMetadatatable is included in the export from D365 FO but is not picked up by the Fivetran connector. - The table does not contain a primary key column, which might be causing the issue.
- These tables are automatically added in the Synapse Link setup as enumeration tables and are not manually selected.
- The absence of these tables in the
model.jsonfile generated by Synapse Link might be another reason for the syncing issue.
Impact: The inability to sync these metadata tables is hindering our data integration process and affecting our overall workflow. We need these tables to be included in the sync process to ensure complete and accurate data representation.
Request: We request a feature improvement to allow the Fivetran connector to detect and sync metadata tables like GlobalOptionSetMetadata, even if they do not contain a primary key column. Additionally, it would be helpful if the connector could recognize and sync tables that are automatically added in the Synapse Link setup.
