Connector Improvement: MAR(Monthly Active Rows) data to DataDog External Logging
We understand Fivetran Platform Connector logs MAR(Monthly Active Rows) to Destination.
We have Fivetran pipelines that read
MySql(binlog) -> Fivetran -> Snowflake
MySql(binlog) -> Fivetran -> RedShift.
These MAR data is available as table in Destination(Snowflake/RedShift).

Can we have this metric also piped to DataDog External Logging so we can get a single view of Fivetran Pipeline MAR Usage Spend along with other log metrics in one place.

Official comment
Hi Ramki,
Thanks for reaching out with this request! At this time, Fivetran sends logs—but not metrics—to DataDog. Supporting metrics, especially of this type, would introduce additional complexity and significantly increase the volume of data we send, so it’s not something we’re planning to support in the near term.
For access to metrics and sync-related statistics, we recommend using the Fivetran Platform Connector, which is our primary machine-readable interface for this type of information.
Thanks,
Lyndsey
