We would like to request additional UI customisation options within the “Powered by Fivetran” (PBF) flow. Our goal is to give users a more streamlined experience when selecting data sources, while also enforcing certain limitations that align with our platform’s requirements.

Currently, in the PBF setup process, users can:

• Choose “Sync All Accounts,” which automatically selects every account they have.
• Choose “Sync Specific Accounts,” which allows selecting one or more individual accounts.
• Specify the “Historical Sync Time Frame” before data ingestion begins.

Proposed Enhancements:

1. Add ability to disable “Sync All Accounts”

   • Reasoning: We want to prevent users from inadvertently syncing every available account, which can lead to confusion, increased data costs, and possible performance concerns on our end.

2. Add ability to restrict “Sync Specific Accounts” to a Single Account

   • Reasoning: Our platform only supports one account per connection to ensure a clear separation of data. Allowing multiple accounts for a single connector could complicate our internal data models.

3. Add ability to disable “Historical Sync Time Frame” Selection and Default to (for example) 2 Years

   • Reasoning: We would like all historical syncs to standardise at two years to maintain uniform reporting capabilities and reduce the chances of misconfiguration.
