Destination Improvement: Support Delta Lake Variant Datatype for Databricks

We have a Snowflake Connector that syncs data to a Databricks Destination.

Majority of the source tables have variant columns. These are currently being casted to Fivetran String to Databricks String datatype.

    Thanks for the feedback. To clarify, do you wish that Variant types in the Snowflake connector to be replicated to Databricks Variant types as well?

    Yes, that's correct. It would be better if the data is replicated as Variant on Databricks instead of String
