for G4 user-scoped custom dimensions are not presently available in custom reports

This is problematic and limits reporting in such a way where it is difficult / impossible to track all the events for a given user based on user properties. 

Having this would ease reporting. Presently we cannot use fivetran reporting for the data and we have to go directly to G4 dashboards.

    Luke from the Product team here. Thanks for submitting this feature request.

    Our connector supports custom dimensions and metrics but with a limitation. That's explained here in our docs: 

    To sync a custom dimension/metric, you need to ensure that the dimension/metric is linked to all properties selected in the setup form. No custom dimensions or metrics appear in your connector schema if you select Sync All Accounts as your sync mode. Learn more in the Google Analytics 4 setup guide.

    This limitation exists because when you select "all accounts" we sync all account data to a single report table in your destination. However, our syncs will fail if we send a request to Google for a custom dimension or metric that is not assigned to one or more of the accounts. 

    Let me know if that addresses your use case.

    While setting up a separate connection does give access via custom reports to event-scoped custom dimensions what I am seeking is user-scoped custom dimensions.

    I do see the category for event-scoped custom dimensions but this does not fulfill the need, what I am seeking is user-scoped custom dimensions in the custom reports.
