Connector Improvement: Workday HCM: Adding Worker_Event_ID column in history tables as reference to Worker_Event_History

Hi Fivetran team,

 

Based on the conversation related to Position History, would be keen to explore if it's possible to add worker_event_id column in the history tables:

  • worker_history
  • worker_position_history
  • worker_position_organization_history
  • personal_information_history

This would be helpful to identify the event or business process used related to the changes made in the history tables.

    Hi Michael, 

    This would require a post load transformation between the history tables and the worker event tables. You can do this using your preferred transformations tool, alternately I've forwarded this request to our data models team. If there is sufficient demand for this we can consider creating a data model to do this transformation.
