Connector Improvement: Allow users to manually enter the primary key fields if they know them

From a user perspective, it is extremely frustrating trying to configure Workday connectors. The primary key configuration is unusable when you try to use dynamic start and end dates. It takes over 30 minutes sometimes for the connector primary key fields to be listed. It may take 2 hours to configure a few connectors.

Possible technical solution options:

  1. You should allow the user to manually enter the primary key fields, if they know the fields.
  2. Remove the dynamic field range params during post to Workday. Narrow the query return to 1 to 2 days in order to return a smaller result set. The goal is configuration, correct?

    Hi Tim, 

    To your first point, you can enter the primary keys via rest API if you know them. That might be a more scalable solution if your reports are quite large. As to your second point, we will have to investigate and get back to you.
