Connector Improvement: Unable to remove column from the Schema of the connector added through Terraform
Not plannedAs mentioned in Request ID- 236285, We are unable to remove column from the Schema of connector- ddcc2dbr01.
Through our Terraform deployment, a lowercase "load_date" column was added by mistake to the schema definition. We are unable to remove this "load_date" column and is causing confusion to the users of Fivetran looking at the schema. This issue can be observed on several tables/views on the ddcc2dbr01 and ddcc2dbr02 connectors
Please provide how to remove this lowercase "load_date" column.

Fivetran support team suggested as follows that's why raised this feature request has been raised:
"Issue discussed with our engineering team, and here are the findings:
- The engineering team confirms that it is not possible to modify the standard configuration object structure through the UI; only selecting or blocking entities and similar actions are supported.
- Currently, there is no functionality to delete a column from the backend either.
We apologise for the inconvenience at this time.
However, the engineering team understands the challenges of schema management in automated deployment environments and recognizes the need for enhanced functionality to address these issues. They are considering this as a potential feature improvement. You can also submit a feature request."

Hi Pramod,
Thank you for your feature request. After thorough consideration, we have determined that this proposal does not align with our current product development framework. Our strategy is to focus on core use cases where Fivetran can provide distinct value. We appreciate your input and will continue to assess interest in this area as we move forward.Best regards, -
