I think you can use the report_type field/parameter for this. Based on the second doc you shared, I think GSC combined what we call report_type and search_type into a single field. We are analyzing this and will consider combining the two fields on our connector to match. 

However, in the meantime, I expect using report_type = 'discover' will provide what you need.
