Connector Improvement: Support Microsoft Entra ID for Azure Event Hubs

I am looking to use the Event Hub Connector, but it does not look like authentication using the Entra Id/Oauth2 is supported with the current Event Hub Connector. There are some cases where using a shared access key is disabled and using Entra ID for authentication is necessary. Are there any plans to add Entra ID authentication to event hubs in the future?
