Connector Improvement: Fivetran becoming a Slack third-party eDiscovery API partner

We're looking for your help regarding a solution for accessing Slack data. Currently, the Fivetran setup requires installing an agent in each Slack channel or DM, which doesn't help us.

I understand that Slack has a list of partners capable of fetching full account data, as outlined in this guide. We’d love to explore whether there's a roadmap for Fivetran to become one of these partners, allowing for the full download of Slack message data across an entire account.

    Hi Igor,
    Thank you for the feature request. I understand that the current Fivetran setup, which requires installing an agent in each Slack channel or DM, is not ideal for accessing full account data.

    While this feature is not currently in our timeline, I've added it to our backlog for consideration. We’ll look into the possibility of becoming a partner to facilitate full downloads of Slack message data across accounts and prioritize it based on demand. We'll keep you updated on any developments.
