We are using a Fivetran connector to get some embedded data fields from Qualtrics.
We observe that the raw value of the embedded data fields are correctly populated through the Qualtrics and Fivetran integration. However, when some fields are manually edited in the Data & Analysis tab, Fivetran is not able to retrieve the updated data and is still showing the original/raw responses for those fields. We contacted Qualtrics Support for this issue and they advised we should run the update response API call (https://api.qualtrics.com/daed82306b1ea-update-response) to get the correct value for updated/modified embedded data fields. This is because the updated embedded data on a survey response (edited in the Data & Analysis tab) are stored in a separate database from the raw responses.

As per our conversation with Tatty from the Fivetran support team, the Qualtrics connector does not support the update response API call currently. It would be a super helpful feature to be added in the existing connector as this will enable us to get the modified values of any manually updated fields in Qualtrics.
