Connector Improvement: Syncing Recurring Transactions from QuickBooks Online
AnsweredI’d like to request the addition of fields related to recurring transactions from QuickBooks Online in the existing Fivetran sync. Currently, it seems that the schema does not include the ability to detect recurring transactions like invoices or sales receipts, which are available via the QuickBooks API.
Specifically, we’d like to see the following fields from the QuickBooks API’s RecurringTransaction endpoint included:
1. Recurring Transaction Type (RecurringType) – to differentiate between recurring invoices, sales receipts, etc.
2. Recurring Interval (Interval / RecurrencePeriod) – to specify how often the transaction recurs (e.g., monthly, quarterly).
3. Next Scheduled Date (NextTxnDate) – the next date when the recurring transaction will be generated.
4. Transaction Amount (TotalAmt) – the amount for the recurring transaction.
These fields would significantly enhance our ability to track Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) and other financial metrics directly within the synced data without having to rely on separate logic or API calls.
Please let us know if this is feasible or if more details are needed.

Hi Christopher,
Thank you for the feature request.
While this feature is not currently in our timeline, I’ve added it to our backlog for consideration. We'll prioritize it based on demand and keep you updated on any developments.
Is this the endpoint you’d like us to sync data from? Recurring Transaction API Endpoint
Please let us know if you have any additional details or questions!
Best,
Sandeep

Agree - QB is a massive user layer that ties financials to nearly everything out there in other data sets for smaller and mid-market companies. FiveTran engineering team - this would be very cool and it’s a product from Intuit so it’s it’s a big need for a large total addressable market!
