I have a salesforce connection that is triggered by Airflow using the official async operator maintained by astronomer (it used to by maintained by fivetran itself).

As you probably aware, to replicate formula fields I'd need to use transformations. Since we are on Redshift and some formula models are too big to be stored in redshift as varchar, we are forced to use the Fivetran integrated Quickstart Transformations.

These transformations can be either scheduled or set to run after the connector finishes the sync. None of this solutions seem to fit well for my use case in which we externally trigger the sync from Airflow. How shall we proceed?
