Connector Improvement: GA4 Historical Sync Increments

Hi there,

I'm wondering if it's possible to allow users to set the date increment on GA4 connectors for historical syncs? Fivetran support confirmed that historical syncs for GA4 are chunked in 30 day pulls and this cannot be edited. This range is large enough to cause issues with some reports (condensing/sampling), that would pull without issue in smaller increments, like 7 days for example. Connectors can be made accurate going forward with the option to update the daily rollback sync range (which is 30 days by default), but with no option to adjust the historical sync increments the data initially loaded cannot be corrected if the 30 day range causes issues.

    Hi, 

    Thanks for submitting this request. I think there was some confusion by our support team about how the connector works. As of December 2023, the connector includes logic to reduce the window to one day automatically if we face sampling. So, additional configuration isn't necessary. 

    I assume there is another issue if your connection has missing data after the historical sync. Was this ever resolved?
