Connector Improvement: Visibility of logs and Current Active ABAP Package Version for SAP ERP on HANA Connector

Dear Fivetran Product Team,

I would like to propose a feature enhancement for the SAP ERP on HANA connector that would greatly benefit users. Specifically, I recommend implementing the following:

Visibility of Connector Logs: Providing access to the logs generated by the SAP ERP on HANA connector on frontent Fivetran SaaS UI, would enable users to diagnose issues more effectively and track performance metrics, leading to improved operational efficiency.

Current Active Version Display: Including a feature that displays the current active version of the ABAP package used to link to that connector along with the connector name being used would help users ensure they are utilizing the latest updates and features, facilitating better integration management.

 

 

 

These enhancements would significantly improve user experience and troubleshooting capabilities, making the integration process more transparent and manageable.

    Hi Himanshu Jain,

    We are working as we speak to get visibility of the current ABAP version in the UI. SO that should be added soon. Logs regarding the connector are part of the Fivetran platform and not something specifial for this connector. You can use the Fivetran Connector to get more insights.
