New Connector: Zoom phone call logs connector

Dear Fivetran team, We would like to request a new connector to Zoom phone call logs to sync data which can only be accessed through the REST API (https://developers.zoom.us/docs/zoom-phone/understanding-call-logs/). We want to use Fivetran to pull these logs and load them into Snowflake as our final endpoint. Since Fivetran does not provide a direct solution to this I would like to request a new feature.

This will bring the following benefits to our business:

  1. Enhanced Decision-Making: Access to detailed call logs allows teams to analyze communication patterns, helping to make informed decisions about resource allocation and team performance.

  2. Improved Customer Insights: By analyzing call data, businesses can gain insights into customer interactions, identifying trends and areas for improvement in service delivery.

  3. Operational Efficiency: Automating data syncing reduces manual data entry, freeing up time for employees to focus on more strategic tasks, thus improving overall productivity.

  4. Performance Tracking: Businesses can monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to call metrics, such as call duration and frequency, enabling better evaluation of team effectiveness.

  5. Data-Driven Strategies: With comprehensive data at hand, organizations can develop targeted strategies for sales, marketing, and customer service, enhancing overall business performance.

  6. Compliance and Reporting: Having a centralized repository of call logs simplifies compliance with regulations and facilitates easier reporting for audits or internal reviews.

  7. Integration with Other Data Sources: Combining Zoom call logs with other business data in Snowflake can provide a holistic view of operations, leading to more strategic insights.

    Please consider this as an option since we have users wanting to have this data available, and we think fivetran would simplify this type of connections

    Thanks for submitting this request.

    If you have a SaaS application that Fivetran doesn’t currently offer a connector for, our By Request program might be the right solution for you.

    The By Request process allows you to request that Fivetran prioritize a new Lite connector that delivers an immediate business impact to your company. As a participant in this program, your team will have free, first access to the data during the build and validation phase. In exchange, you will provide us access to portions of your data to help Fivetran validate the Lite Connector during the build process as we build out the connector and full ERD.

    If you're interested in working with us to build a lite connector please complete the Fivetran Lite Connector Request Form to submit your request. You can find more details about the program in our By Request documentation.

    Once submitted, one of our Technical Product Specialists will review the request and follow up with you. We aim to take two weeks or less for this initial review.
