Connector Improvement: Feature Request – Custom Timestamp Field Selection for Salesforce Connector

Dear Fivetran Support Team,
I’m reaching out regarding the Salesforce connector's incremental sync behavior, as outlined in your documentation (https://fivetran.com/docs/connectors/applications/salesforce#incrementalsyncs).
Currently, the connector uses one of the following fields to track when data was last updated in Salesforce:
- SystemModStamp
- LastModifiedDate
- CreatedDate
- LoginTime
We would like to request a feature that allows us to specifically select LastModifiedDate or a custom field of our choice, rather than relying on the default settings.
Is it possible to customize the field used for incremental syncs? If not, could you advise on any workarounds or plans to introduce this functionality in the future?

Hi Meera,
Can you provide some more information about how this would be helpful to you? What are specific cases where you would choose to use LastModifiedDate? We don't have this in the roadmap right now, but we'll continue to monitor demand.
