After investigating this further on our side with the partoni cluster manager, it has become apparent that we will need  an enhancement to HVR for supporting postgres hadr db as a source.

• Should be able to set the logical replication slot name used by HVR while creating the subscription
• The create_slot option of create subscription should be set to false
