    Hi Bianca,

The creative_history.image_url is a temporary URL. However, we also sync ad_image_history.permanent_url. The latter shouldn't change. You can join those two tables on creative_history.image_hash = ad_image_history.hash. Could you please try that and see if ad_image_history.permanent_url provides what you need?

Unfortunately, there is no permanent link for thumbnail_url. We are investigating ways to continuously update the temporary URLs that won't negatively impact connector performance and paid MAR.

    Cheers,
    Luke

    Hi Lucas,

I encountered a situation is that I pulled ad, creative and image and joined them by creative_id and image_hash, then only 7% share type ads will return valid permalink_url and others will be null. I tried to dig in where the relationship is lost then found out when joining ad and creative, only few creatives have value for image_hash. Is image_hash a reliable field? Or Is there reason behind getting null image_hash when linking ad and creatives? Do you have any idea about that?

    Best,

    Junyao Li

    Hi Lucas -

I agree wiith Junyao , we've tried the solution in the past and the "image hash" seems/has  like an unreliable field. We received a ton of null values when joining the tables on  on creative_history.image_hash and ad_image_history.hash.

    Hey Lucas,

Is there anyway to increase the reliability of image_hash, encountering the same null values as Junyao and Bianca when joining creative_history.image_hash and ad_image_history.hash on image hash.

    BR,

    Errol

    Hi all,

We are continuing to investigate this. As per Meta's documentation, images with image_hash in CREATIVE_HISTORY should have a record in AD_IMAGE_HISTORY, and records should be joined using image_hash and hash respectively. We are investigating why Meta doesn't always return this data. I'll post again when I have further updates.

    Hey Lucas,

I took closer look at the missing ads. It seems like the missing images are associated with dynamic creatives and we need a way to return the list of images from that. From the discussion with fivetran support, they said this feature is still under developing. Do you have any update?

    Hi Junyao,

Thanks for pointing that out, that's very helpful information. I'm curious if others following this thread are seeing the same thing.

We're planning to roll out the asset_feed_spec data in the next two weeks.

    Luke

    Hi Lucas,

Is this asset_feed_spec data waiting to release? What is the current release schedule of the feature?

    Hi Lucas,

Is there an update on when we can expect asset_feed_spec to be rolled out?

    Thanks!

    Quinn

    Hi all,

We're rolling this out now, but we ran into an issue when we tested the changes on a connection. Once we fix that issue I'll announce that we're rolling it out to all connections.

    Thanks for your patience.

    Luke

    Hi Lucas -

Is there an update on this rollout?

Hi, is there any update on this improvement? Have been in contact with support.

    Hey Lucas,

I'm also experiencing the 'URL Signature Expired' for images and videos.

Unfortunately, there is no permanent link for thumbnail_url. We are investigating ways to continuously update the temporary URLs that won't negatively impact connector performance and paid MAR.

Did you end up finding a solution for thumbnail URLs (videos)?

    Thanks,
    Kevin
