Connector Improvement: Azure Function access via Azure Front Door

We want to put our Azure Functions behind an Azure Front Door. Unfortunately the Azure Function connector only accepts a function app name and assumes it's <function-app>.azurewebsites.com. I would like to be able to specify the full URL to the function to account for the different endpoint at azurefd.net

    Can you tell me a little bit more about when you use Azure Front Door?

    I'm hoping to build a better picture of how frequently this would be needed so we can figure out the right way to bring it into the product.
