Connector Improvement: Enable History sync mode for the Salesforce FIVETRAN_FORMULA object
AnsweredFrom an auditing perspective - it would be helpful to track changes to the underlying formula logic of Salesforce fields. This could be enabled by having the option to use History table sync model on the FIVETRAN_FORMULA object created in the destination when using the Salesforce connector.
I can select to track the history of my Salesforce objects (Account, Contact) to see changes in the formula fields using the DBT macro function to automatically add the formula fields to my destination, but I have no way to track the history of the actual formula calculation logic. I would envision this could be accomplished by adding the_FIVETRAN_START, _FIVETRAN_END, and _FIVETRAN_ACTIVE fields to the FIVETRAN_FORMULA object.

Hi Wade,
Sadie from the Product team here. I understand what you're looking for here. We haven't heard too many customers express a need for this. Can you tell me a bit more about why this is important for your business? How exactly would this history be used?
Best,
Sadie
