Connector Improvement: Tiktok Table Level Re-sync

Hey all, we want to refresh a specific table video_history for the Tiktok connectors but we received confirmation (Case #215572) that refreshing on the table level for Tiktok is not supported through Fivetran API.The issue is that a specific column preview_url on that table expires after short period of time. 

We'd like for table-level resync or some alternative to be enabled here so that we are able to retrieve the most updated data for this table/column.

    Luke from the Product team here. We now support table-level resyncs on our TikTok Ads connector. I marked this feature request as completed.

    Luke from the Product team here. Thanks for submitting this feature request. 

    This is something we can accommodate. I've added it to the backlog and hope to roll it out in the next 6-8 weeks. 

    In the meantime, have you tried increasing your connector's sync frequency? We fully reimport this table on each sync. I assume a 15-minute sync interval would suffice to capture most changes to this field. From TikTok docs, it looks like URLs are valid for 6 hours: https://business-api.tiktok.com/portal/docs?id=1740050472224769. 

    Have you analyzed when links expire using the preview_url_expire_time field? I'm curious TikTok sets them all to expire at once or each asset expires on a different interval. 

    Your answers will help us better understand the platform and ensure we meet the needs of your use case.
