Connector Improvement: Fivetran Logs Should Show Failed Queries, Not Just Succeeded
AnsweredI've been dealing with a very long-running issue with the Netsuite connector which has required a lot of troubleshooting and passing of details to the Oracle team to optimise and fix things on their side to allow the connector to work when subsidiary restrictions are enabled.
One of the biggest roadblocks in this process has been that the logs landed by the Fivetran Platform connector only log an event if a query succeeds. In the case of a table being skipped because a query ran too long and was cut off, the only information I receive is a warning telling me that the table was skipped, not which query was cancelled.
Having an event logged for both when a query is started and when it's completed or failed would go a long way in making debugging issues like this simpler.
