    Hi Glen,

Luke from the Product team here. Thanks for submitting this request. I understand your use case and see how the current feature for selecting accounts would be difficult to use. However, we haven't received other requests for the ability to exclude accounts and adding that as a feature would require redesigning this component which would take some time.

I think we could solve your issue more simply though. We should be able to detect whether an account is deactivated and handle the error gracefully by skipping that account instead of showing an error like the one you included in your request.

Would that solve your issue? You would select all accounts, and our connector would automatically skip any deactivated accounts when we sync your data. We'd avoid showing an error during the setup tests.

Let me know what you think.

    Thanks,
    Luke

    He Lucas,

That will definitely solve the issue I'm having with our Taboola connector, and it would relieve me from adding new accounts manually.

However, I still think it would be a nice feature while I'm also experiencing performance issues with some of the connectors (mainly Facebook Ads), which I believe to be related to the number of ad accounts under that account. My assumption is that, if I exclude unused ad accounts the sync time could be greatly reduced while also saving unnecessary Fivetran resources. For me this would only be viable if I have the option to exclude ad account instead of including, considering the burden of manually adding new accounts.

Let me know what you think. Alltough the skipping of Taboola accounts is allready a life saver.
