New Connector: New Fivetran connector to connect to any generic API and bring data into the destination

Hi! Is it possible to have a connector in Fivetran which can connect to any generic API, get the data and then load it into the destination table(s)? Right now, we have to build our custom solutions utilizing python/Astronomer to fetch, parse out and load data from APIs at a cadence, so wondering if Fivetran has plans to build any such connectors. Thanks!

    Thank you for letting us know of you need. Can you share more information about the service and APIs you are looking to get data from?

    I'm curious if it the need to write python that is the challenge for you or the need to work with a 3rd system?

    We are considering a Fivetran hosted solution to enable customers to create custom connectors and wonder if this is something you would be interesting in joining a Private Preview of?
