Connector Improvement: Sage Intacct - Robust Soft Deletion
Not plannedThe ask is to make fivetran's soft delete detection more robust for its Sage Intacct connector. Rather than looking for presence of any Delete event, just look at the most recent audit history event and if it isn't Delete, then _fivetran_deleted should be False. We came across an example where our record had a delete event recorded even though it is still present in our system. Intacct is looking into it but in the meantime we hope Fivetran can make the changes to handle this case.

Hi Cason Male,
Thank you for sharing your idea for improving our Sage Intacct connector's soft deletion detection. Currently, we do not plan to implement this feature due to limited demand, as outlined in our documentation regarding the capture of deletes: Delete Capture Strategy.
We acknowledge the limitation that deletes are not captured for objects where the OBJECTKEY in the AUDIT_HISTORY response differs from the object's primary key. However, we will track votes and comments on this request for potential prioritization in the future. Please encourage others to upvote this feature, as increased interest will help us consider it for future updates.
Best,
Sandeep
