Connector Improvement: Enable Capture Deletes Feature For Gainsight Customer Success Objects
CompletedHi Team, we want to request Capture Deletes feature for Gainsight Customer Success tables there are many records in CS_TASK table which are deleted on GAINSIGHT end but the _FIVETRAN_DELETED flag is not working for those records and it is showing as FALSE in Snowflake ,We raised a request with Fivetran support team and they mentioed that Fivetran does not support Capture Delete for the Gainsight tables which are having timestamp values like (modified_date,modified_at,created_date,created_at,last_change_modified_date,last_used_timestamp,login_time) .To add more information for the issue we are loading data into snowflake from SENSITIVE_UAT-->> GAINSIGHT connector and the The Primary Key for this table is GSID. Please have a look and let us know the expected timeline for this feature to be live. Thanks

Hi all,
We now capture deletes for the
CALL_TO_ACTIONandCS_TASKcockpit objects in addition to all of the standard and custom objects. Due to source limitations, we capture deletes only from the last 15 days. To retrieve older deletes, you must re-sync these tables once.Best,
Sadie

Hi Pawan,
Sadie from the Product team here. Thanks for raising this request. We haven't seen much demand for this feature, but we understand the value to our customers and have it in our backlog. I don't have a timeline yet. In order to help with planning and prioritization, could you share which tables you need Fivetran to capture deletes?
Best,
Sadie

Hi all,
This feature is now available. Note that the endpoints we are using do not return deletes for System Objects. According to Gainsight, data from System Objects cannot be deleted. If you have a case where you are deleting from System Objects, please reach out to Support referencing my message here and ask to be put in touch with me so we can further investigate.
Best,
Sadie
