Connector Improvement: SettlementCurrencyRate missing in Shopify Transaction Table
CompletedI just queried Transaction data from the Shopify connector and noticed the settlementCurrencyRate is missing.
This data is absolutely necessary to calculate the payment fee in the shop currency at the point of transaction.

Hi Roman,
Sadie from the Product team here. We are using the Rest API to query transactions and that data point is not available. We have it in our backlog to sync data from GraphQL OrderTransaction, but I don't have a timeline for this yet.
Best,
Sadie

@Sadie Martin. Thanks for the update. Even though this is not popular among all Fivetran User apparently, it for sure is of high importance for us

Hi Roman,
We just introduced a GraphQL Schema toggle in the Shopify connector setup flow. Enabling this toggle allows you to create a new Shopify connection using our GraphQL schema, which provides access to many newer Shopify fields and tables that are not available in the Legacy schema.
Since the requested field/table is available only in the GraphQL schema, it will not appear in an existing Legacy schema connection. To sync this data, you'll need to create a new Shopify connection with the GraphQL Schema toggle enabled. Existing connections cannot be switched from the Legacy schema to the GraphQL schema.
Before creating a new connection, we recommend reviewing the following documentation:
- GraphQL vs. Legacy Schema (explains the differences between the two schemas)
- Setup Guide (includes details on enabling the GraphQL Schema toggle)
- July 2026 Release Notes (announcement of the GraphQL Schema toggle)
Since the requested field/table is now supported through the GraphQL schema, we are considering this feature request complete. If you have any questions about setting up a new GraphQL schema connection, please let us know.
Best
Sandeep
