Connector Improvement: Jira connector: Register deletion of project role actor
CompletedAs discussed in support request 205648 we found a gap in Jira connector.
According to https://fivetran.com/docs/connectors/applications/jira#features, Fivetran does not capture deletions in the project_role_actor table. As a result, the table contains records that were already removed, making the data unreliable.
As a result, I cannot make a report on projects, project roles, and project role holders based on Jira data synchronized by FiveTran.
Would you fix it, please?
Thank you
Michal

Hi everyone,
The improvement for the Jira connector to register deletions in the
project_role_actortable is now live and generally available. The connector will accurately track soft deletes in the fivetran_deleted column. See our release notes here for more details. Thanks,

Hi Michal,
As of right now we don't have a way to capture deletes for this specific table. The best option would be to resync when you believe there is a delete that needs to be captured. We are always looking for ways to improve our product and will keep an eye out if JIRA supports deletes for this table in a way that we can incorporate into our connector.
Thanks,
Frank

Hello Frank.
That sounds good.
I was searching for option to do historical resync on single table only and I found this link
but when I follow instructions for Jira connector, I do not see Resync option.
I do not want to initiate a full resync, because it takes long time and Jira was not happy (started to respond 401 to Fivetran).

It takes 3 days to re-sync the jira connector. We need the ability to re-sync certain schemas or this needs to be fixed.
