    Hi all,

We added new columns to the CUSTOMER table to provide data for the following fields:

    • customer.account_level
    • customer.associate_manager_descriptive_name
    • customer.associate_manager_id
    • customer.manager_descriptive_name
    • customer.manager_id
    • customer.sub_manager_descriptive_name
    • customer.sub_manager_id

You can read our release notes here: https://fivetran.com/docs/connectors/applications/google-search-ads-360/changelog#august2025. Our ERD hasn't been updated yet, but it will be shortly.

I will mark this request as completed. Please let me know if these additions don't address your use cases.

    Cheers,
    Luke

Hello, I just want to know which is the status of this topic? Any improvements on this?

    Thanks

    Alonso

We also require the Manager and Sub-Manager entities related to the existing Client accounts. We would like to see dimensions for the Customer ID and Name of the Manager and Sub-Manager to which the Client account is linked.

Any update on this feature request? The CM360 connector was recently updated to retrieve metadata tables. The same type of approach could be applied to SA360 to retrieve the manager and sub-manager account relationships as requested here.

    Hi all,

Luke from the Product team here. Thanks for submitting and following up on this feature request!

We released metadata tables on Google Search Ads 360 in Novemeber 2024: https://fivetran.com/docs/connectors/applications/google-search-ads-360/changelog#november2024. This includes a table called CUSTOMER. You can see the ERD here: https://fivetran.com/connector-erd/google_search_ads_360.

However, it looks like we're missing some fields from the customer resource, which I think would address your use cases. This resource has fields called sub_manager_id and manager_id. I assume that if we add these to the existing table, that will address this request. Please let me know if you disagree.

I've added this to the team's backlog and set it as a high priority. I'll keep you updated on further progress here.

    Cheers,
    Luke

    Hi Luke,

In addition to the manager_id and sub_manager_id, please can you also add manager_descriptive_name and sub_manager_descriptive_name fields.

    Thanks,

    Merel

Hi Lucas. Thanks for looking into this. Yes, I think adding the manager fields into the CUSTOMER table would address our use case. As mentioned in the comment by Merel, we would like to see both the 'id' and 'descriptive_name' fields for both manager and sub_manager.

Thanks Luke. That's great news! How do we get these new customer fields added to an existing SA360 connection?

    Hey Marc,

I'm not sure why the columns are missing in the CUSTOMER table for your connection. Could you please open a ticket with our support team? They can request access and test the response from the API to ensure we're receiving these fields from Google for your account or find the root cause of this gap. Sorry for the hassle.

    Thanks,
    Luke

    Hey Marc,

Following up on this. Sorry for the confusion, and thank you for flagging your issue.

There was a mix-up; our engineering team added these fields to our custom reports feature, and the original release notes were incorrect. I set this request back to "Planned" because we plan to add the columns to the CUSTOMER table in our next sprint.

In the meantime, if you're eager to get this data, you can add it to your custom reports. You can add or edit custom reports for your connection in the connections Setup form. However, it should be available in the metadata table soon.

    Cheers,
    Luke

    Hi Luke,

When is this update planned? Looks like it didn't make the release notes for January.

    Marc

Hi Luke. Do you have an update to share on this feature?

    Hi Marc,

We're missing the release note but we added the new tables to our CUSTOMER table. You can see the new fields in our ERD here: https://fivetran.com/connector-erd/google_search_ads_360.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Cheers,
    Luke

Thanks Luke. It looks like you've added the 'id' fields, but not the 'descriptive_name' fields.

Since the 'descriptive_name' fields are available through custom reports as you mentioned before, we've gone ahead and created a custom report table in our connection. We were aiming to continue using the standard 'customer' table, but the manager 'id' fields alone are not sufficient for our use case.
