Connector Improvement: Clickup - Extract Custom Task Type for Tasks

We need to determine the custom task type for each task. Currently, we cannot tell if a task is normal, a milestone, or a custom type defined in our workspace.

The "Get Tasks" API response includes a custom_item_id field: https://clickup.com/api/clickupreference/operation/GetTasks/

This ID links to the task type name, which the "Get Custom Items" API provides: https://clickup.com/api/clickupreference/operation/GetCustomItems/

    Hi Everyone,

    Thank you for your request to include support for the custom task type fields (via custom_item_id and the “Get Custom Items” API) in the ClickUp connector.

    I’m happy to share that this enhancement has been released privately to a few of our customers for early access and validation. We plan to roll it out to all users as part of a wider release in November.

    This update will make it possible to identify whether a task is normal, a milestone, or a custom type defined in your workspace.
